Biography
Coach Stephano Muro is a dedicated martial artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Since joining TAG Muay Thai in August 2022, he has fully immersed himself in the art, training diligently Monday through Friday to refine his skills. His passion for Muay Thai has evolved beyond personal development—he is now an integral part of the coaching staff, helping to train the next generation of fighters in TAG’s kids’ program.
Coach Stephano has also stepped into a leadership role by learning how to corner fighters. He has successfully cornered both adult and youth competitors, guiding them through events and helping them perform at their best. His commitment extends beyond the gym as he takes teams to different competitions, ensuring TAG Muay Thai is well-represented at various events.
In addition to Muay Thai, Coach Stephano has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, focusing on no-gi grappling for six months. With a strong academic foundation, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Data Analytics from American University in Washington, DC. He is the owner of AquaBibes, a thriving boat rental company based in Miami, Florida, and is currently launching Cylixo, a data consulting business serving the Northern Virginia area. Cylixo specializes in helping small and medium-sized enterprises leverage data analytics to optimize operations.
Beyond business and martial arts, Coach Stephano is committed to giving back. He volunteers his expertise to non-profits, assisting with data analysis and automation. Currently, he collaborates with Catchafire and the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, customizing Salesforce databases to enhance their impact.
With a diverse background in coaching, competition, business, and philanthropy, Coach Stephano Muro continues to be a valuable part of the TAG Muay Thai community, inspiring both students and fighters alike.
